How do I submit an ILL Request from home?
How do I submit an ILL request when I'm on my home computer? I am logged into Chrome with my CUI email address, but the Lean Library Library extension is not popping up.
Answer
Unlike a platform that you login to, Lean Library is an extension that must be downloaded onto your PC or laptop. If you don't want to download Lean Library onto your home computer, you can try using a blank ILL Form. However, the blank form won't automatically fill with your article or book information. You will need to add those details and then submit the form.
If you're not using the Lean Library extension, here are some additional options for requesting your specific title as an Interlibrary loan (ILL) request. In these platforms, click on the "Request through interlibrary loan" or " " prompts.
- Option 1: Search for the title using the Discovery Search Box on the library's main web page
- Option 2: Search for the title in EBSCO-hosted databases
- Option 3: For books only, search for the title in the library's book catalog and complete this Suggestion/ILL Form
